Kimono Rental Wargo × HANDS FREE KYOTO Luggage Storage Service Now Available at Two Kyoto Locations!

Thank you for choosing Kimono Rental Wargo.
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with HANDS FREE KYOTO, a Kyoto City initiative promoting hands-free sightseeing. As part of this collaboration, Kimono Rental Wargo will begin offering luggage storage services at two of our major stores in Kyoto starting Monday, July 1, 2024.

Why Hands-Free Sightseeing in Kyoto?

Kyoto City strongly encourages travelers to explore the city without carrying large suitcases or heavy luggage. According to the official Kyoto City website:

“Bringing large luggage such as suitcases onto buses and trains causes overcrowding, preventing local residents from boarding. To ensure everyone can comfortably use public transportation, please make use of hands-free sightseeing.”

This is especially important in Kyoto, where bus transportation is widely used and major tourist sites attract large crowds.
